Casa Grande Art Museum Docents
CGAA members serve as the volunteer docents for Casa Grande Art Museum and we are always looking for more volunteers. Shows are Sept - May and open Wed-Sat, 1-4pm. You are welcome to volunteer as few or as many afternoons as you'd like during a show - it's up to you. Docents open and close the Museum, and assist visitors. You are welcome to bring a project and work on it while there. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested in volunteering.
We always welcome new volunteers on our committees. Please see the Committees page to see what interests you and ask if they need help!

Exterior reviatlization project for Casa Grande Art Museum
Casa Grande Art Museum, 319 W 3rd Street in Casa Grande's historic downtown, is a non-profit 501C organization and a valued art space in our community.
From January 2018 through January 2020, CGAA raised funds and contributed time and labor to revitalize its exterior and grounds. We had the building painted and installed a new AC, added new gravel, irrigation and landscaping. Community-involved mosaics and murals were created and incorporated into the landscape. Volunteers helped manufactured a unique steel fence with stained glass inserts designed by CGAA member Leah Kiser. Central Arizona College's welding teacher, students and CGAA volunteers spent hundreds of hours creating this fence to replace the chain link fence that had been there for years.
